Abstract

This research paper, therefore, tries to identify the educational gaps that exist within Lahore in Pakistan, integrating geospatial analysis with AI tools to draw the blueprint for an equitable and accessible public education system. The study is based on census 2022-2023 dataset of 1120 public schools of Lahore. To analyze the school’s education disparity researcher operationalized twenty-six independent and education disparity is one dependent variable from the census dataset encoded to the geodata frame. Dataset of schools was spatially visualized on map and identified cluster of schools covering district Lahore. OLS regression highlighted, that drinking water, security measures, toilets and dangerous classrooms were confounding variables. Hotspot analysis highlighted male (ED value 9.4) schools face more education disparity than female (ED value 9.232). However, urban settings including males and females face more education disparity as compared to rural areas. Proximity analysis identified the 279 schools with the highest nearest neighbor distance having an average area covered 7,282.57 square feet 8 working classrooms and an average of students per school is 378 showed less accessibility. Predictive analysis using AI highlighted 728 additional teachers were required in Lahore school.
